There is no denying that Bamboo makes the best FDM printer by far. Get it if you can afford it. But the K1 one series of printers are great machines. I havent had any issues with them and i am new to 3D printing. The "issues" i have seen mentioned by people on RUclips are almost alwasy user error and inexperience.

K1 and K1 Max have been FANTASTIC for me for the last year. Much much much cheaper than bamboo, larger build sizes available, and multicolor releases soon. I gave my 74yo mother a K1 about a month and a half ago. She'd never seen a 3d printer before 😂. She's now happily printing out all kinds of things and having a great time! Machines are great. Even for newbs. Also can get refurb models <$300 and sales regularly that put new models <400.

Idk. The LiDAR can be used to scan parts of a print and, with ai/predictive software, can correct issues with prints on the fly. And constantly correct or adjust for certain things. Right now I guess they’re only using it for extrusion calibration. But yeah the flow dynamics would be better for extrusion cal only, and LiDAR for other stuff.

I got an anycubic mega x. I'm brand new to 3D printing and currently trying to figure out how the heck to use it. If anyone has tips for that specific printer please let me know! Thanks

was watching your video all the way through.. and I don't know why you didn't mention that the runout sensor is JUNK!! they don't last at all..but I guess if you are kissing longer's ass that is why you didn't say it or you just didn't know but bragging about having all these printers and not knowing does not help your review of this printer.. you could have simply just looked at some reviews and seen they are flooded with RUNOUT SENSOR JUNK!!! they even send 2 with them..

Got mine 2 years ago from NEWEGG.. it was on sale for $179.00 with a 10.00 dollar rebate.. it was refurbished but it was refurbished by LONGER and shipped right from LONGER.. and I can save you some time .. the LONGER LK5 PRO is a fantastic deal, I have been printing like a mad man for 2 years and love this printer.. made some changes to it as soon as I got it.. first moved the spool mount to the top.. printed a pully for filament also got a new .. then bypassed the cheap runout sensor as they do not last very long, that is why they send 2 with it.. save some time and headache and just bypass it ..then I got an extension cable for the MicroSD card and made a mount in the front of the printer right under the LCD screen.. YES THIS PRINTER IS GREAT!!!

Haha, I just purchased the K1c and then I was looking to become more familiar to this printer and I find this video. I am sure for manufacturing purpose the k1c is superior apart from the size of the print that K1cMax has shorted it giving the user the possibility to print 30cm by30cm by 30cm making this Bamboo printer obsolete. I am so glad I dint called for it:P I believe the print issues is only because your lacking in experience with it I really hope so but based on what you said so far I stand lots of chances :)

Why putting all the time and money to print all the pieces just to skip all the prep work to really make something that look awesome. This just looks like crap

NO! It's complete sh*t. Within the first month I had to replace the heatbed, the entire extruder assembly and countless tips. The filament runout sensor failed twice, completely screwing up the print. All things creality are garbage.

Just stumbled upon this video. I bought one of these 3 years ago and it still is doing a heck of a job. I have it connected to my OctoPrint and probably have run it for 3000+ hours at this point. Very reliable and perfect if you need to print something bigger or many small things at the same time. Obviously it's lacking the printing speed of current 3D Printers but at that price point it is very negligable. Definite recommendation from my side if someone is looking to get into 3D Printing and wants to tinker a bit with their printer.

I have the Modified Easythreed K9 Printer (heated bed mod), and to calibrate the bed, it has the four buttons, for four corners. When you press a button, it moves in the required position. 1 = Left front (home) 2 = Right front 3 = Right back 4 = Left back.

What kind of laptop do you use to design your prints? I’m looking for the cheapest laptop possible for 3d printing cause money if very tight these days. Thank you for your help and great video.

I have the kobra 2 pro I like it it’s about $260 so it’s affordable and I’ve never had any problems with it

The printers bed and work size are depressing :(. should I just get the 260$ one? Like I’m thinking it’s just worth it to spend the 260 and be happy rather than be 110$ out of pocket and disappointed.

I bought an Easythreed K1 for my son 2 years ago for his birthday and it's still going strong, it's simple enough for him to use at a young age and it gets the job done. He loves it, after initial setup he just has to level the bed sometimes.

I’m finding that filament quality is huge 🫤 every time you change filament if it’s not printing properly, clean the bed and level it. if still not working start slowing down prints and adjust heat settings I had such cheap filament I had to run initial layers at 12 mms and slow everything else down too. Prints take forever but you’re not wasting filament and you know not to buy from that place again 😅
